I’ll be back next week with more gift ideas. In the meantime, which Sew Special project is your favorite?
Do you have a recommendation for a good basic sewing machine for these types of projects?
I purchased a basic Singer last year and have been very disappointed. The reviews were also dismal and it is no longer on the market.
Thank you.
Kristen, the sewing machine I use is the Brother CS6000i (affiliate link) I can honestly say that I’ve used this machine for many projects over the past 6-7 years and it has never let me down. Which has surprised me because it’s one of the least expensive sewing machines I’ve ever owned! When I bought it, I thought for sure I’d “get what I paid for”, but this machine has been great. I love all the decorative stitches too. I used them on the napkin gift bags.
Thanks! I ordered one today.
