Trick or Tip Week and Link Party
Halloween is just around the corner. And in honor of that spook-tacular holiday, some blogging friends and I are hosting “Trick or Tip Week” from Monday, October 24th – Friday, October 28th. We’ll end the week with a Link Party for all your tricks or tips! So be ready to link up Friday, October 28th. Your trick or tip will show up on ALL of the blogs simultaneously (thanks to some super secret Wizard magic we obtained.)
Your tips can be about anything! Heck, if you are a witch and know how to put a hex on a troll, we want to hear about it! And if you have a tip but no blog, PLEASE by all means leave a comment letting us know what you tip is! Anything goes (obviously nothing vulgar or profane, etc.)
These fabulous bloggers will each have a tip to share next week. So be sure to stop by their blogs and yell “Trick or Tip!”
Monday: SAS Interiors – Paint
Tuesday: Sawdust and Paperscraps – DIY
Wednesday: In My Own Style – Decor
Thursday: Madigan Made – Blogging
Friday: Pretty Handy Girl – Tools
Be sure to end up back here on Friday, the 28th for another Tool Tutorial Friday
AND a Tip on using Jigsaws
AND the Link Party! WOW, you won’t want to miss it! Oh, and don’t forget to spread the word. The more the spookier merrier!
Kids grow up so quickly these days. It often seems like only yesterday that they were born; a time when they were completely dependent upon you for all of their needs, and where all they needed was warmth, love and food. And then they start to grow and this amazing little bundle of love starts to develop into a little person, with their own wants and needs.
Looking forward to all the great stuff to come! Here’s my Halloween tip – a great way to get the huge stash of candy away from your kids’ (well, at least most of it!) –> http://lilyrose.hubpages.com/hub/halloween-stories-the-switch-witch
Tati,
Excellent idea! I might just have to implore that strategy!
I’m tellin’ you, it works! My girls love to get as much candy as they can even though they know they’ll only be keeping a fraction of it and they get so excited to leave it out for the Switch Witch and to see what she exchanges for it! This year it’s Monster High dolls – something that they’ve been begging me for since last year but I’ve refused because I just don’t like ’em … but mom has no say in what the Switch Witch leaves, right? I couldn’t resist because if ever there was an appropriate time for such a toy it is certainly Halloween!
My tip:
Try using some Sinkadoodles decals to add accent color and flair to your bathroom or kitchen. They are waterproof so they can go right in your sink or on your shower door. Decals are a great way to establish a design theme such as tropical, beach, spring flowers, primitive, country, southwestern etc. And you can choose your custom color options in our ‘Virtual Coloring Gallery” in our website. Sinkadoodles are a great way to decorate on a budget!
Janet, thanks for your tip 😉
Love this idea! Can’t wait to see all the great tips 🙂
