The Best of Pretty Handy Girl 2010

The end of 2010 is near and several bloggers are parading out their best of 2010 projects over at Southern Hospitality. So, in the spirit of parades and looking back, I thought you might like to go back with me to the very beginning of Pretty Handy Girl. We are going way back to June of 2010. Not too long ago, but it has been a project filled 7 months.

So, won’t you pull up a comfy seat and travel back in time with me?

Wonderful projects! Isn't blogging the best 😉 Enjoyed your recap and found you via Southern Hospitatlities link party. I've been blogging for three years and this is the first re-cap post that I've completed and it really makes you appreciate all that you accomplish in a year. Best wishes for the New Year. Fondly, Roberta

Amazing what you've accomplished! You are more than handy, you are very creative! I'm especially amazed by the reading nook, and the bench made from a bed. I do need to read up on the floors, since I'm gearing up to put some in myself. You are very inspiring and I'll be sure to follow along and learn a thing or two in the upcoming year. Happy New Year!

Wow! You were busy. I love all your projects especially the hallway storage. I need to make one of those for the hallway that leads out to our garage. I almost grabbed a free bedframe off craigslist to make a bench, but hubs said I was nuts so I let it go. I need to show him how great yours turned out.

Hi Brittany, I'm stopping by from Rhoda's party. I love your project accomplishments. So many great ones. You sure have a lot of creative energy. It is hard to pick a favourite because they are all great, but I really love the heart of pine floors and the reading nook.

Your reading nook project is my absolute favorite. I remember when you first posted about (saw it on a linky party) but don't know if I told you then how great I thought it was.

To answer your question about power tools, I am glad that I'm learning how to use them. It's nice to be able to do things with out constantly having to ask for help.
