I don’t know about you, but I’m super excited for 2012! I hope you’ll stick around for some more DIY tutorials and empowerment!
Did you have a favorite post of mine this year that I forgot to mention? Do tell! Chosing from almost 200 posts makes for some tough decisions.
Thank you for this post! I’m a new follower and I LOVED these projects!!
I am soooo inspired! Thank you for sharing your seemingly endless creativity. I have 4 things planned after visiting your “Best of 2011” and can’t wait to get started. May I ask if you’ve ever been challenged to rehab circa 1980s round-cornered, oak furniture? Not my style, but it was free, it’s very sturdy, and, well, it’s already here! Only 2 suggestions I’ve considered: 1) stain rounded trip & wood handles black to contrast natural oak, or 2) stain entire piece very dark reddish and replace wooden handles with horizontal brushed nickel over a plate of same material (to cover the previous wooden handle well made by manufacturer). I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you again for what you do!

I popped over from the #BlissDom tag and I’m so glad I did. I am a DIY/crafter at heart! My favorite project you listed here is the Dream Big window- so beautiful!
I’m more of a crafter than home improvement junkie, but I grew up in a household of all girls and I’m not afraid to pick up a wrench, saw or nail gun. And being a thrifty lady, I’ll have plenty of opportunity to put my hands to work around the house. (My favorite project in the last year was replacing our kitchen flooring. The demolition was actually kinda fun!)
I hope to have the chance to meet you at BlissDom & look forward to checking back on your blog!

Hi PHG 🙂
Great round up! I was just thinking about the light bulb one the other day. We got a new chandelier that needs white bulbs that look nice.
Happy 2012 – I look forward to meeting you this year!
I have enjoyed reading about your projects and look forward to the E-mail notifications. Thank you so much! You are definitely Pretty Handy…and that’s an understatement. Anticipating another great year!
Wow! So many amazing projects I don’t even know where to start with picking a favorite … my head is spinning!
Love your blog and your home.
Happy New Year!
Gosh, it’s hard to choose my favorite of your 2011 projects! I especially appreciate your power tool tutorials, though. Looking forward to 2012, blessings to you! 🙂
Happy New Years to you and your family. I am very excited to see what’s up your sleeve for 2012. Thanks for sharing your great ideas and wisdom. Cheers!
