All such great ideas Brittany! Every year I say I’m getting rid of the old Christmas decorations but then I can’t part with them after all. I was a long time Santa collector, most were mine that I cut out of old wood with precious memories. I don’t have the room I used to have to display them so back in the box they go. I think it’s time for my kids to start their collections & take mine.
Colleen, I have long ago parted with all the Santas I painted. Since I had already painted many for my children I was not sure they would want or need any more of them when it was time to cut down on them. well, I was wrong they now have homes with my children and grandchildren. It was still a strange transition having them gone the next Christmas when I would have been placing them out. so be prepared but it is nice knowing they went to nice homes.
